Welcome to Le Chemin Apostolic Centre
Le Chemin Apostolic Centre aims to establish healthy relationships among its members, like a big family. If you’ve just recently joined us, we’d like to introduce ourselves to you and to get to know you. Alain and Marie Caron are surrounded by a solid team of leaders to lead the church and to help each person develop. Below is some information to help get you started.
Your First Visit With Us
During your first visit with us, you should have received a folder containing a card to fill out with your contact information. If you haven’t completed your card yet, please do so, and then drop it off at the welcome counter or put it in an offering basket on Sunday morning. Don’t worry! We’ll keep your information confidential. We’ll use the card to establish a point of contact with you, so we can communicate with you and answer any questions you may have about the church.
If for some reason you did not receive a welcome folder on your first visit with us, you can pick one up from the welcome counter in the foyer.
All churches have their own culture, a kind of spiritual DNA that identifies them. To help you learn about our values and what makes us tick, we suggest you attend a special meeting with Alain and Marie Caron. We announce these meetings on Sunday mornings and include the information in the announcements that we post on our website.
Whether you’re a new Christian or you’ve been a Christian for a long time, you’re new to Le Chemin! These meetings with Alain and Marie really help you get your bearings and they give us a chance to get to know you.
Chemin du disciple (The Disciple’s Path)
After you have attended the intro meeting, we offer you two choices:
To build or solidify your understanding of the Christian life, we suggest you attend a series of classes called “Chemin du disciple”. That is normally your starting point in the church. Pastor Michel Lautone will be able to direct you to a group that meets near you. You can reach him by sending an email to email@example.com.
Many other cell groups (small groups from the church) meet throughout the week. You can check out the list here: Cell Groups
Finding Your Place in the Church
Much more than just meetings, Le Chemin is truly a way of life. There are many ways for you to get involved and to serve, all while developing your potential. From grounds maintenance and cleaning to praying and teaching, we strive to serve the kingdom of God, each according to their abilities and call. What you have to offer is unique. Write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know what you have on your heart to do at Le Chemin. Get involved today!
If you would like to receive pastoral care during the week, please email Pastors Augustin and Aimee Kazadi at email@example.com and they will get in touch with you.
Everyone is invited to join us for prayer every Sunday morning from 10:00 am to 10:25 am, before the Sunday service begins.
We practise water baptism by immersion, following a declared faith in the Lord Jesus. Once you have had an encounter with Jesus that has transformed you and you are ready to publicly declare that you want to follow him, baptism is for you. We will walk with you in this preparation, especially through our Chemin du disciple courses.
If you would like more information on baptism or you would like to be baptized, please contact Pastor Michel Lautone at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Many pastors in our church can officiate weddings. If you would like to get married, please contact Pastors Augustin and Aimee Kazadi at email@example.com.
It’s always a great joy on a Sunday morning when a newborn is presented to God in front of the congregation. We pray to dedicate the baby to God and ask for his blessing. If you would like to have your baby dedicated, please complete a request form.
